The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications are actually open and can close on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the subsequent criteria:

• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house with a combined gross domestic income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined nsfas 2025 R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.

Applicants are reminded to provide the proper Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected inside their South African ID.

NSFAS only funds people who are researching or intend to research in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.

All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait nsfas application until the last day.

Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and nsfas application avoid delays in the processing of their application.
